Having won the Poster Wars, Mondo turns to toys

…and their first batch includes his STUNNING Iron Giant figure!

Mondo:

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, The Iron Giant has reaped praise as being among the greatest animated films ever made (recently ranked #7 on Time Out’s 100 Best Animated Movies list) and it was important for Mondo to honor the film with an appropriately stunning collectible.

The 16” tall figure will have over 30 points of articulation, light features, and other fun surprises! Accompanying The Iron Giant will be a Hogarth figure, scraps of metal for him to munch on and a Seafood sign that has a removable “S” to put on his chest. He will also include an interchangeable head and gun attachment, giving a choice of displaying the figure as the regular version, or the “War” version! The figure was designed from the actual CG files used in the film, for ultimate accuracy.

Mondo hopes to have all the toys up on their redesigned website in August/September, and have them in fans’ hands by Christmas!

Grimphantom:

For those who love “The Iron Giant" and wanted a toy but missed it back then? Well this is your opportunity, guys! Don’t miss out having this especially on Christmas.

I’m curious if Mondo does well who else they have in mind……Megas XLR, Dan Vs., Sam & Max? Only time will tell but one thing is for sure, Mondo may be fans answer on getting some cool merchandise of series that has a cult following.

Suddenly, I have an inexplicable urge to draw Vanessa Doofenshmirtz as Jessica Rabbit! ;)

It’s a pity I don’t have time for drawing cool stuff… Enjoy the gifs anyway!

God… DAYUM!!

I looked up the episode on the wiki. This, and some part in starting a race, is seriously all she’s in the episode for. I have never seen such a waste of a character.

I’m having a hard time getting mad at that fact. I mean… Look at her!

She’s 16, dude.

That’s legal in Britain.

Also, SHUT UP.

And Japan (legal age there is 13-14)

Alright, you win this one. I’ll end it here before it get’s out of hand.

Sorry for arguing with you about this. Glad I won, though.

No. I should be the one apologizing about starting the thing in the first place. Sorry. You totally won, by the way.

You don’t have to apologize or say who won. Let’s put it behind us.

Grimphantom:

Also where she is, it’s not a place a 16 year old should be. Just remember it’s a cartoon after all. Also point out how hot they made her in the special.

Summer Garnet by grimphantom
Hey guys,
As promised, here’s the first pic of many to say these days. First with Garnet of Steven Universe. When i first saw the pilot it was good and i do admit that when they re-design the characters was a bit skeptical but watching the official show the designs of each characters are great. All 3 female protagonist have their unique look and obvious Garnet got hips to show it, especially that recent episode that aired in Canada….wow.
This piece is inspired by a gif where Garnet changes to her swimsuit only this one is edit and shows a bit more that what the original episode shows.

Since we are still in summer it’s a good way to start this new batch of works i have to show for everyone.
Enjoy :)

HAIL TO THE KING, BABY

2014 marks the sixtieth anniversary of Godzilla, the world’s most famous movie monster. Around the globe, people are celebrating this momentous occasion in many different ways, but no one honors Godzilla better than his homeland of Japan. The Big Godzilla Special Effects Exhibition will display original props, suits, production art and memorabilia in one centralized location - and it’s only on display in Tokyo for two weeks.

Exhibits like these are rarely seen by westerners and only a small fraction of the English speaking world has ventured to the land of the rising sun to view them. They return home with tales and photos of movie history and have had them published in fan magazines and on websites for decades. But with recent advances in technology, we can now share these stories and images in beautiful high definition.

If successfully funded, I will travel to Japan to document the Big Godzilla Special Effects Exhibition and interview key members from Godzilla’s sixty-year history. The images and footage collected will be edited into a feature length documentary that will be available on YouTube titled Hail to the King: 60 Years of Destruction. If we meet some stretch goals, this documentary could eventually be available through Video On Demand services. We have an awesome group of artists and fans who are helping to create some of the incredible perks for the campaign.

Time is of the essence! Without a doubt, our biggest challenge is the ticking clock of funding this project, traveling to Tokyo and documenting this exhibit in a very short timeframe. If we meet our goal, we will only have four days in Japan to capture this monumental opportunity.

Additionally, time also comes into play once the team assembles back in America. With less than three months to create the documentary, Martin and Kyle have their work cut out for them but they are excited to have the opportunity to work together.

Of course other challenges exist - the team will need to keep backers updated and coordinate with the creative collaborators to make sure the backers get their perks on time for donating. But while the entire team is fully committed to making this project a reality, only your donation can get this documentary off the ground. Please help us celebrate Godzilla’s legacy by contributing to this independent documentary and thrilling kaiju fans around the world.
